Hi I have the exact problem, I've tried everythign I can think of, even changing ISP's, but everytime I have the same error, I've sent all the setting to my phone from the sonyericsson website so as long as you input them there then they shoudl be correct on the phone, I've phoned both O2 and sonyericsson and neither seem to knowwhats wrong, so annoying I'm going to phone sonyericcson today because I have changed my ISP o breathe and now I get cannot connect to server, although I've noticed that I need to change the dial up number on the phone, anyone know how to change that?
Thanks and sorry Icouldn't be anymore help, I knwo how frustrating it is.

To access your account using a WAP browser, configure your device with the URL:

http://www.anytimenow.com/wl.username.password where username and password are your own credentials.

If you want to access your anytimenow account, you must write to customer support (as mentioned in a post above), they will then send you a password (different than your login password) that you can use to pop your account using your phone. The IP addresses aren't needed, just use pop.anytimenow.com for the incoming. Anytimenow does not allow outgoing, so you won't be able to send mail using this account.
Furthermore, anytimenow pops rather stragely. It will only pop new messages, and only messages that have not already been downloaded to it's webfront (i.e., Anytimenow.com). I find this rather annoying, and it makes it impossible to pop your hotmail to your phone. Give it a try, you'll see what I mean. If you are using anytimenow to check your hotmail with your phone, you'll have to do so using
www.anytimenow.com/wd through WAP. Unless I am doing something wrong.
