You should give MGMAPS a try! It's like Google Maps, but with GPS support, and can import maps from several other mapservers as well.

I'm running google mobile maps on my P990 and I actually used it last friday with a map of Folkestone.

goto www.google.com/gmm

it did say (US/Canada) but it still works fine for me
