Yeah, it should under 'Integrated Peripherals' on the BIOS, but if you accidently change something else your computer may go down.

I have the usb2.0 turned on in my bios an I still get around 100 in transfer rate using MyPhoneExplorer, and loading songs to the phone seems really slow

I have a decent computer, and yes everything is fine in BIOS, it's really weird, i'll go grab the memory card reader off my friends house now and report speeds here
edit: wow, the speed by using the memory reader is unbelievable ;/ im not sure 100% how many kb/sec but i managed to copy a 8 mb songs in less than 4 seconds

I have posted about this on other forums and there doesnt seem to be an explanation other than the file transfer mode is pants.
I have a gig card and used to use it on my K750 with no problems. put it in the W810i and it is slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow
I got so peed off with it I bought a usb pro duo adaptor (card reader) and now it transfers lightning fast.
why did s/e have to muck around with the file transfer.
and I checked its not my card or the pc or the cable coz they are all the same as with the K750 and that was quick !
so spend a tenner and buy a card reader its worth it (although maybe s/e should reimburse us!)

On my comuter:
1. w810 using Myphone app transfer speed -------> around 100kB/s
2. K750 using Myphone app transfer speed -------> around 350kB/s
So is this a fact for all with w810??

AFAIK, both K750 & W810 are using USB 1.1 which could give you a max burst of 12Mbit/s or approx 1.5MByte/s (but I could be wrong). The slow transfer speed is most probably a firmware issue.
The card reader has nothing else to think about so it's easy to achieve very high transfer speeds.

no, the slow usb in K750 and W810 is due to the use of serial emulation (both are way slower than USB1.1 even which btw is not 46Kbps but 1.5MBps). Although the phones are classed as USB2.0, SE have not used the USB2.0 HIGH SPEED bus for these phones.
Disappointing really.

Really disappointing. Especially since they always stress the point that you can use upto 2G on some fones.
It all becomes impossible unless you have a card reader.

It's better than the K700 (about 8-10 times faster maybe), but still disappointing.
