I think the the major factor in Nokia's Success is Quality.
They develop higher quality phones both in terms of Software and Hardware but for some time about 1 year firmwares in latest symbian OS8 phones are BUGY (No every body go NSC for firmware upgrade) .In past the phones equiped with stable Operating Systems.I experienced many SE phones like K750,W800 but unfortunately half of them are Bugy e.g when you try to send a file via BlueTooth they will restart.

Very good points there Shaliron!

SE's entry-level/budget phones aren't as good as Nokias, they have quite a good range of entry level phones. SE seems has some not very good looking entry-level ones, they either seem to be rehashes of old models, or almost chucked out as a 'afterthoughts'.

When you're young, or getting your first mobile, Nokia's offerings are better looking and easier to use. If I was in the market for a simple or entry level phone, I'd probably buy a Nokia!

I think the situation of Nokia reminds that of Motorola about ten years ago. Models are abit clumsy and not so stylish and the batterytime almost disaster. N80 only one hour in 3G region! The global market share will rapidly go down like With Motorola. This message was posted from a Z1010
