> K800i keypad problem or not ?

Mine takes about a second as well. It gradually flows down from the top. I prsume this is a design feature to make it look good.

i found another keypad bug, when you chose the "click" sound, then u charge the phone to the charger or u make a call. the sound will dissapear even if u go back in the menu change it to silent, tone or click it will remain silent. you have to turn on and off the phone.

Is the keypad light issue a problem?

noticed mine the other day... it's a rather cool effect!! It's like a wave flowing from the screen to the bottom of the keypad.

Mine does this too, i assume its more of a design feature... like a gradual illumination of the whole screen keypad.
If it was a real bug then bottom leys wouldn't light at all.

Hi guys n girls,
I noticed that once you unlock the keyboard for example, that the screen lights up closley followed by the joystick and the keyboard, and don't think its firmware, more likely to be an aesthetic thing from

, plus I quite like it, its quite smooth watching the lights come on from the top...
Either way, it doesn't take 1second between each bit lighting up, I'd say it does it in about 1s, the entire process that is...
Cheers

Its just a flowing effect no firmware issue.

it also looks rather cool when your phone rings, or you receive a text message when the keypad is locked/backlight off
