I no longer have my K750 with me now. BTW i used to have driver v2.1 earlier.

See this thread for all the drivers. See page # 11 & page 20 (for v 2.1, 2.3 and 2.4. Dont try 2.2 - it's buggy)

I have driver 5.3 on my D750>W800 and no periodically the mistake (no saving a picture and return to the main menu) comes.
I have no new player skin, just changed couple of icons in main menu.

Well, first of all thank you really for all your answers!!!

No,I dont have any hacked media player skins or menus!
No,the problem doesnt stop after re starting the phone!
(Not anymore anyway...)
No,the problem doesnt stop when I reset all settings!
I ve done it 2-3 times and the problem is still there!

I took it in a service station this morning and see what happens...
I suspect a loose connection as someone suggested.
After a free fall this sort of thing can happen I guess...
Hope I get no charge for this though, cos I m under warranty.

so it fell, you must have said that in the first place, but it's good that your phone went to a service center.

I have an update on my saga...
Today I finally got around to go to the service center and get back my phone.
They ve updated my already updated phone and according to the service
people the reconnected the camera to the mobile main board after opening the phone.Anyway,I tried taking a photo and BAM! the same happened again!
The phone couldnt save the photos and after the final click the phone was going back to the standby screen.
Imagine my dissapointment at this point...
They had another look and byt that time, everything started acting as normal.
Took some photos on my way home and all was ok.
By the time I got home,it was once again screwed. No photos saving.
I really hope they re open on Saturdays cos I ll take it back...
I m starting to feel sick with this w800i.
9 months=4 times back to the service center for me...
I wonder how many more...
Dont I qualify for a new phone?!?

Yes you do. Most countries support 12 month legislative warranties that demand manufacturers replace items if they have been returned for repair more than once for the same problem. That means, if they can't fix it properly, then they must replace it. They can't just keep giving it back to you semi-fixed so that you have to keep bringing it back to them until the warranty expires.
