He means:
Press Right on the Joystick
Press star.
Press Left on the joystick
Press Left on the joystick
Press star
Press Left on the joystick
Press star
This is the generic way of entering the service menu on SE phones. The standard DCU-60 USB Cable that comes with your phone will charge it as long as the drivers are installed on your computer.
Thanks frakker.
I'm using K610i, the joystick does not support directional movement. There are four directional button, but it is a short cut. Therefore, I could not enter service menu as what he mentioned.
I have installed the PC Suite. My phone did not get charged when it is plugged with my laptop. What is the drivers I need to install?
Many thanks.
Regards,
cfswu

You have joypad with four directional buttons each for up, right, down and left.
With joypad:
Press Right button
Press star
Press Left button
Press Left button
Press star
Press Left button
Press star
When you connect the K610i with PC check in the PC:
Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager to find out which driver is missing. You will see an exclamation mark (big and yellow) at the begining of the device name - in this case K610i. Insall/Update all drivers related K610i.
I am sorry, I don't know which driver is related to USB charging and therefore suggested to load all drivers.
