n73 is also cheaper than the n80 surprisingly seeing as the n80 jus has the added wifi.
i tried it and the screen is beautiful as if the camera n80 didnt do anything for me

Sorry i odnt know how old this thread is, but i didnt want to start my own n73 vs n80 thread. Everyone seems to say how the battery on the n80 is rubbish. How rubish is it? how long does it last and how long does the battery on thr n73 last? People say the n73 is better, but i love the design of the n80. Also whats this about saying the camera on the n73 is better? i thought they were both 3mp? Also if you take a picture, which screen will it look better on? the n80 or n73? as i heard the n80 has higher reslution screen.
thanks

After having owned a N80 and owning a N73 at the mo i can safely say the N73 is the superior phone. The battery on the N80 lasted me around 2 days the N73 around 3-4. Not sure on resoulution but as far as i know the screen of the N73 is larger than the N80's. The N80's build quality also has a lot to be desired for, with vague slide and cheap battey cover.
Concerning the cams although both 3.2 mpx's the N73's is far superior, the N73's has autofocus which makes a massive differance, and although the N80 does have a macro slider switch for close ups i found it generally useless, saying that the on screen picture qulity will be roughly the same, though when transferred to a PC or printed the differance will be noticeable.

The battery on the N80 is weak but it will get you through a working day with heavy usage. The camera on the N73 has a more expensive lens and has auto-focus which the N80 lacks. The screen on the N80 is as good as it gets but the N73s is far from poor. Once you've had a phone with wi-fi and understood the possibilities you can't live without it.
Oh and I nearly forgot...
the N73 is a tacky piece of plastic crap without style or charm.

ok so scott says the n73 is better, and shung says he n80? All im really bothered about is how good the photo you take looks on the screen and how clear and crystal the screen is. What the the built in WiFi actually do?
+Well i prefer the design of the n80
+From the sounds of it the Wifi is brilliant
+beter screen
- poor batery
-crashed a lot ive heard
-more expensive
+N73 has big screen (only by a bit i think)
+Better camera
+Longer battery.
-Worse design
-no wfi
Im not really sure...i think im probably goin to get the n73

N80 doesnt have the battery to back up its features. Its as simple as that. Features are useless without a good battery.

A battery that lasts 3 or4 days is absolutly no more use than one that lasts for one day unless you never sleep or go on constant camping trips.
