N80 is a good smartphone, but its not the best
K800i is the best all arround none smartphone, with maby the best cam on the market.

had an n80 and hated it!
terrible battery life, big and heavy in the pocket, a real nuisance to lock the keypad and an overated camera.

k800i... can't fault it, great handset

For your info, the camera is actually very very good. Secondly, its not overrated. I've never seen a N80 being hyped for its imaging capabilities.

k800i is all about its imaging, hence being called a 'cybershot' and it tries to include many other features as well, not just a great camera.
N80 is a smartphone that has good all round features, it does not solely focus on one capability.

Just because it has been 'hyped' it does not make it a good camera.
It may be good when compared to the overall quality of cam phones of today in general, e.g D600, K750, w810i, v3i etc etc.
But i do believe that the k800i has recieved more hype over its camera quality than anything else on the market right now.

I said it WASNT hyped

Oops, n80? Maggflodd lives in ireland... So naturally it's not affordably 'out' here, yet. But it has moving bits, doesn't it?! Now I have the dys-pleasure of using 6680/n70 at work... What you don't wanna do is trust no-kia with even more movable bits than those 2 don. And by the way, those two should also dispel the myth that no-joystick-means-fewer-problems: try opera mini or red out racer or, or, ... You'll yearn for k750's sticky stick! And don't get me started on the symbian-smart-bit...

I have both N80 and the K800i.

I have have had the N80 for 3 months and the K800 for a month.

I would choose the K800i over the N80 any day.

My first impressions when i got the n80 was good but not brilliant, Its a smart phone that has crap battery, poor camera(Yes i know that its not really a camera phone) but my k700 vga takes better shots than the n80. The menus are slow and the phone just crashes and crash, yes i have the latest version of firmware but sorry still prefer the k800.

Both of my phones are unlocked an generic firmare installed.

The video is better on the n80 than the k800 and i can def say you can do loads more with the n80 and i like the wifi. But again i would still buy the k800i over the nokia.

Sorry Nokia, Luv the phone, but battery is shocking and camera is total crap at night (Light is useless) So the phone is going which is a shame.

Oh well, Lets hope the N83 will be much better.

The i suppose SE will have something up the sleves.

I couldnt wait for Orange to release the K800 so bought a N80. It was the first phone out about 40 I've had that within 3 days of having it I wished I hadn't bought it 3 weeks later I now have a K800

I'd go for k800 any day, first got my hand on N80, was shocking! the body is totaly crap, covered by cheap plastic, display not so briliant unlike its review, photo quality is ok, but my girl pick k800 in the end
