personally i think the macro mode is that great on the K800, my W800 used to let me take really close up shots and it would always focus properly on the object. Whereas the K800 doesnt focus when its too close, i find myself having to go a good 12inches away to capture an image in focus. The W800 used to take a while to focus in macro mode when the shutter button was depressed half way, but the K800 just focuses in almost immediately.

Has anyone else found this?

wait, i am not sure if i'm understanding your post.
are you saying that you like the W800 macro mode more than the K800 macro mode? or the other way around?

bit of a typo in my post above, meant to say the macro mode ISNT that great on the K800. I found the macro mode better on the W800 personally... the K800 focuses in too quickly whereas the W800 takes its time to focus in on the object...which is GOOD!

wishlist lol.. none of these things would probably happen but..

better sms management.. sorting and grouping
music app "on the fly" playlist ability
better video recording like the w900i
different sms tone for contacts
the calender app needs to be fixed.. (when setting start and end dates you should be able to actually see the calander instead of only being able to enter the date)
it's easier to scroll to the date then to input the date
improve macro mode and camera quality

Associate different BT accessories with different profiles (and allow the charger to be it's own profile)...

For BT accessories I can only select "Accessory 11 0" when associating with a profile which means my car kit and bluetooth headset are both "In Car" as far as the phone is concered.

I wish it could take MS Duo's other than the non existant MS Micro M2s

The copy function, which can be used in any input field enywhere on the phone, should be available on a plain page in the web browser as well. For example, if an URL is presented on a web page without an implemented link to follow, it would have been very handy just to copy the URL and then paste it into the address field.

I agree that allowing a personalised SMS tone for different contacts would be great.

I would also like to see a "view" choice on the phonebook rather than "more>view contact". Or perhaps a photo phonebook would be a nice option.

What else...let me see...an LED indicating any missed calls or messages would be useful, considering the screens go entirely blank.

fullscreen photo caller ID would be nice as well...

And of course, being able to sort messages better (and save to memory stick!)

That would require additional hardware. A workaround is to use the display backlight. A single digit pressed lights up the screen with a fairly bright background.
