The mca25 and p800 were among the products featured at a recent exhibit by se in the Philippines. I was able to save the shots i took from both cameras. I own a mca20 and the pictures are great however the picture quality is only 72 pixels per inch. You can see this info when you use a photo software like the one that came with xp, paint. Just right click and you'll see properties. Anyway, the p800 and mca25 both have 300pixels per inch! One negative comment on the 25 is that the colors are not as rich as This post was posted from a T68i

Cont. Are not as rich compared to the mca20 even with the mca25 color boost set at 25. One very positive comment about the 25 however it that the shots taken for mms size is a lot better! This may be due to the fact that it has 300pixels/inch and even if you use zoom, the image will still have a higher pixel per inch compared to mca20. Unfortunately, zoom only works with the t300 which was also displayed. The p800 camera is another post for another thread.;-) by the way, the 25 is slimmer and lighter than This post was posted from a T68i

Cont. than the mca20. It doesn't bulge much in the pocket plus saving images on the communicam after a shot is much much faster! What i despise is the coating that surrounds the lens area. If i remember right, its chrome. For me it attracts too much attention that makes it more obvious you have a camera connected on your phone. Well, that's all for now. Hope the info i posted satisfied the curious ones. This post was posted from a T68i

the chrome lens coating is just for the prototype version, the mca25 i used doesn't have such coating.

@jcpsad: the communicam takes way lot better pics than a 7650

@MFB...

Are you sure the MCA-25's color isn't as rich as the MCA-20's?

Do we have any proof or specs on these two cameras side-by-side?

I'm debating whether to buy the MCA-20 or the MCA-25. They're both more or less the same price... I just want the best quality picture. And I have read in several posts that the MCA-20 has nicer pictures... and never an argument for the MCA-25.

I don't understand how the MCA-25 can be 300 pixels/inch and have less rich colors than the MCA-20 with 72 pixels/inch. Are those numbers fact?

Also... is the MCA-25 going to be available in any color other than silver, like baby blue/silver, to match the T68i and the T300?

@gtwinkie: as i mentioned in my previous post,the mca25 i got to examine was from an exhibit held in our country. There's a big possibility it is just a prototype since the chrome on the lens area is not present to what is commercially available. I was able to take shots of the p800 using the mca20 and 25. It both had the same lighting conditions at the time i took both shots. Both were adjusted to 25 in the color boost setting of each communicam. Upon sending the pictures to my pc, i checked the properties This post was posted from a T68i

@gtwinkie: in the paint software available in winxp. Right click on your mouse with the pointer on the picture brings about the properties menu. I checked some of my mca20 pics and it all had 72pixels/inch. The pictures i got from the mca25 had 300pixels/inch. With regards to the 20 having richer colors, that doesn't mean it it clearer. Its just that the colors on the shots from the 25are not as intense as the ones from the mca20. The detail of the 25 pics are better though since its 300pixels per inch.
