When I enter my IMEI number found on K800i is said that IMEI number contains an incorrect amount of digits (17 instead of 15). WTF :?
Update:
I open the battery cover and enter IMEI number who has written under the battery and after analysis get this answer :
Mobile equipment brand / model Motorola CC2-41A12
GSM Implementation Phase 2/2+
IMEI range issued by British Approvals Board of Telecommunications (BABT)
Reporting Body location Europe

))) Weird ????

Changing your IMEI is illegal and I'm not so sure the MODS should be allowing this topic to be discussed on this forum!!!! It's up there with changing the chassis code on your car! It's time this topic was changed.

When I put the IMEI of my W800i (converted from a K750i) it also stated it was a 'K750u' as well.

P - if you changed your IMEI to that of your friends, I wonder what would happen when you both had your phones switched on and two phones with identical IMEIs logged onto the GSM network? You might find question will be asked by the telco or police!
