Yer, he ejected to late (as he was too low because he was hovering) and landed on the wing, fracturing his leg.

This is the same aircraft known as the Hawker Siddeley, isn't it? Was my favourite military jet. I very much like the concept. No long runways etc.

Are any other VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) jets in production besides this model?
