@ Whizz et al, for the past two days i've been trying to reconfigure my Netfront browser, thinking that it was the cause of the problem hehehehe. I don't much like this new look either, doesn't feel comfortable, and i also suspect it's a bug rather than something more permanent

Ok, it's been a couple of days of me using this new version. Thus far I've only got one beef...the page-layout just looks disproportionate...at the top of the page fonts appear slightly larger and more spaced out but then things revert to normal once you reach the main body of text displaying the different forums.
I like being able to click on usernames but I don't like the abovementioned anomaly.

@brix, when you click on an usernam,e you get the option to PM them right? Can you check if there is a "send" button to send the pm!
I dont seem to find it!

ok, it's a bug...when I tried replying to whizz's PM I didn't see the submitt button...while it had been there minutes earlier.

It's been almost a week since the changes and nothing has been done to improve the Lite HTML site...I can't see signatures, text seems to be badly formatted and the overall look is not good(subjective).
Please laffen, I sent you a PM some days ago and I'm still awaiting a response...either to tell me I'm crazy or better still that the lite version will revert to it's old style perhaps with the possible exception of clickable user names.
And what's the deal with some members having *gif signatures?

Unlike the majority here i actually like the recent changes, the page looks much neater and better laid out. Also feels as though it loads quicker too.
Guess html light was due for a change, wap/wml/xhtml versions changed some time ago but i do not like them now, text looks too big and appears in a coloumn on my PDA.
Good work with light i say!
