Why not update it via OTA(gprs) using the Update service seen in the settings menu? It is much simpler and u dont need any cables or drivers... I updated my w550i that way and it took me just 45 mins to complete. Just try it

I'll explain : I runned SEUS on my computer , followed the steps , and the program recocnized my fone so i clicked to start .
Now it says to me for almost 1 hour , this : > Please Wait ; Downloading Phone Software
What's this meaning ? and why it tooks soo long .. The bar it's still moving , and moving and moving ..
Can someone tell me in this moment what's wrong ?

Problem solved , my fone is updated to latest firmware now ( it's BRANDED FONE ) For those who think that branded fones cannot be updated pls shut up.

Just for my knowledge , you're contact menu is has sliding effect when you enter it ?
I just observed something after updated from first firmware to R4DB005 , the contact menu has no slide effect when i enter , also in file manager if i click "more" option to a picture it displays the option menu without effect , jsut instant. Is this to you too or the firmware update did this .. if it's soo , maybe R4DB005 is not good.

By the way , the latest firmware (R1DB005) improves music quality and volume a bit , the earphones speaker volume is now very ok , fixed some camera crash when in fine mode and you take a picture with lot details , and improved more small things , but i cannot see what are them , but i know that are there lol

Now that i've updated my phone trough SEUS , i can tell you more :
That thing you say it happened to me once , when i had already plugged the phone and started it in flash mode before SEUS told me that .
Well , when you turn on you're phone pressing C key , it should appear there on the taskbar a icon wihth SE FLASH DEVICE (or smthing like that) , but , before you start seus just plug usband leave the fone like that , then enter SEUS and follow instructions , after that it should recocognize you're phone.
