it can be unbranded. the 3 branding was awful i used this site
http://www.wotanserver.com/detail.php?phone=20 to unbrand it. it worked fantastically

Umm, Orange completely change the standby screen - unless this can be turned off like the instant viewer on 3.
3 do change the icons but they have left My Friends which is normally removed by operators.
Plus the phone looks awful in grey!
