as for the issue with windows based platforms crashing constantly, it is okay, cause you can deal with that, i mean it is easy to fix, if my windows crash i get it up and running back in an hour, so here with the phone i assume it will be same, i guess there will be no need to go to the sp, it will be more like grab a recovery cd and repair it yourself, i can live with that, and also please keep in mind that mobile os is way less complicated than windows, so it should not crash as often, i mean think about it what would actually crash? www browser? outlook or java, i don't think so, so it is pretty much self explanatory
it all depends on what you want, Symbian ( i never used it so i have no idea if its good or not ) or MS, which i trust and like, Linux is a pain in an ass with its not so user friendly interface and the lack of apps supported, so i guess everyone choses his own path, i am sticking with ms, if the chance is given....
You're willing to have a mobile that crashes often and takes an hour to reboot??? Yes, a mobile device is less complicated... but compare the reliability of PocketPC vs Palm or Symbian... Windows is Windows. Easy to use, not reliable... that's how MS makes money..not from the sale of Windows, they make money from after sales support packages that they sell to organizations.
I'm sticking with Symbian or Palm on my mobile device... eats a lot less battery and needs less processing power to run. And besides, I don't want to HAVE to pay MS for extra apps. At least Palm and Symbian have 3rd party devs that give out free apps as well as the paid ones.

MDS, your right on all accounts. But the phone is 2 tall 4 my tastes. Love the P800! If u didnt notice, MS has a habit of abandoning products if less than 95% of the world is using them. Proof? PPC, after making StrongArm cpu's mandatory, Xscale isnt fully supported so its phones now!

okay i agree with all of you, good points, however, first lets say that mobile device, if it crashes is not going to take an hour to repair, but i see your point, i would not like that kind of crap from my phone, but i don't think it will happen that badly and often... so, we should wait and see, as far as microsoft goes.. it is reasonable to say that their competitive advantage is the fact that everybody is forced to use them, so i though what the hell, why not give in.. but most importantly i like what the phone will make possible, stuff like outlook and ie on my mobile with media player, sounds intriguing to me.
as for the height of the phone and its size, i can say that it is not much different from the p800, but it is thiner and sleekier... and lighter, and please all keep in mind that i am talking about sendo not this orange thing... additionally, i don't think this kind of phone is intended as a pda per se. i think it is all about multimedia, interactive gui, and stuff like sounds, web and custumization... so imagine how nice it would be to plug in a 128mb sd and watch a half hour movie on this thing... anyway my point remains.
as for the p800 being the ultimate package, that is actually the reason i don't like it to begin with... all those features add up to the brickness of the phone. i mean you got a camera, but it is no where near any low range digicam! than the pda, if i needed that i would get a clie nx70v and a t68i with that and get way better blend than a p800, so i think it does have it all, but all is at low range level... while sendo z100, is a tft 65k color display, all that polyphony and video support and all those javas and html viewers (all thanx to ms) and they are way more advanced than the p800's soft. so it is directed appliance concentrated towards multimedia, and i know if i had one of those i would have much more phone with a phone that is more compact, has higher memory extension possibilities and lets me watch movies on it, than with the phone that has it all, but has it bad. i mean 4k lcd, will become a discrace by the time p800 shows up in your pocket, they will have the 3g handsets at affordable prices by then...
so this phone (sendo) is the one for me, i am drooling, trying to get the early adopter's beta version, and that is okay, i know it is buggy but i just want to have it and anyway i will keep using my t68i the best phone ever...

I totally agree with Decoy7 ! Using mobile phone since more than 12 years… what I need today is something to replace my Clié and my T68m(i)… but definitely not bigger than the T68…!!!
A pretty good replacement will probably be the new Siemens S55…
