Well there is a good side to getting this motorola other than the huge screen and the 3G capapbility. There's tons of fan-made programs/java's/FW etc. for this phone and all V3 variants.

but my w800i is very nice , its amazing...it gives me lot of pleasure...and m a total..music freak..i lissen to music whenever i get free time..even for 1 min...i need music...and so... i tried w800i..i juzz loved it..!!!
the best part about this phone is not only the sound quality and the mega bass feature...(am a bass lover) but..also the earplugs...which they provide u...oh boy..they are mind blowing..!!...
u wont hear a single noise from outside when u lissen to music..thru earplugs...and i travel everyday by train(local trains in mumbai DAMN noisy)....i dont hear a single...noise..imagine..!!...m very happy with the earplugs..and the music player they have..!!!

Well, put simply. 3G offers much faster internet access than 2G (normal mobiles like the K750). It's like comparing dial-up to broadband. In addition to faster internet speeds, you can make video calls on a 3G phone.

Nobody has mentioned that the V3x has A2DP which the W800i does not.
Here in NZ the V3X is currently available with HS-850 BT stereo headphones for no extra cost - a very tempting deal.
I agree that the W800i has heaps of good features and a better UI, but these days a serious music phone needs A2DP IMHO.
