@sloppy
So am i on free Wap. Have been for years, but you are going via a message server and there is nothing stopping charging you for each message. Also we are on free Wap which is classed as a 'data receive' service NOT free data sending even though we can.......for now.

MMS is active and working on T-Mobile USA in California. Although I haven't been able to send to ATT GSM T68i users yet. I can send and receive MMS to and from T-Mobile USA T68i users. One cool feature is when you send a ringtone to a email address using MMS it's converted into a MIDI file. It dosen't seem to work the other way though. BTW, MMS can be used with GPRS or CSD data with T-Mobile USA so GPRS is not required for MMS.

What I mean by MMS through CSD data is that when you send or receive MMS you can use CSD data connection to send and receive the MMS data. CSD is dialup for mobile phones. Upload speed between CSD data and GPRS is the same, but the download speed on GPRS is usually much faster. I usually switch my T68i to CSD data on weekend since I have unlimited weekend minutes.
