Great going Masseur

HEy I noticed that on your M600 the today option is showing on your screen,

wish thsi can be done on the P990 also or for the shortcuts that we creat they would come out on the main flip open screen because there is sure a lot of space there.

P990 rocks

I was told that the sets with Chinese language support could not update firmware to R7 still on R4 and seus will reply via update service, no update needed!!! Any truth in this?
Found out also the "call divert" function are sometimes available depending on sim card. Under call settings, you cannot see "call divert" but I tried changing sim card, it appears. Its definately not becos of service availability as both my sim has subscribed to call divert with telephone service provider!!! Another bug?
On the brighter side, i did notice the menu speed is better after i turn off the handwriting abilities.
Think I will give up on this P series and return it and get me a stable and reliable W810i

Just installed the swissman. There is this setting where you can set close/end application on flip close. This is real useful to conserve precious RAM and avoid phone auto restart due to lack of memory.

Swissmanager is useful but sometimes the OS shuts it down if it's running out of memory, so u have to keep checking if it's on.

i have a few doubts about 990

1 can we use *.gif as wall paper to get a moving wall paper... i do not mean screensaver

2 is there a a screen saver that will show that clock... in p910 there was the screen saver or powersaver clock option but its missing here... i have to click one switch to see the time each time

3 any new programs that have been released for this handset...

4 can we change how the icons look.... namely the short cut icons where are so boring to see when you compare them with other icons in the handset

5 can we store messages in the memory card ... i have lots of emails and messages that i have to keep and this is eating away my phone memory

6 any larger capacity batteries available

7 what are the ebook readers for this handset..i have a lot of medical ebboks which i refer regularly and now i am stuck with no program to read them
