Just rang CarphoneWarehouse(0800 0495495) and orderd myT300 sim free for £200 the guy assured me they were in stock and would be with me by Tueday "guaranteed" So roll on tuesday!!!!!!
CPW seem to have it stocked at their depots but not all shops. When I went out looking yesterday most stores said its out officially on friday so hopefully I can jup the q.

I still can't believe how cheap the T300 is Unlocked/SimFree/Offline compared to when most places are letting the almost identical T68i unlocked go for something in the region of £350!
