Oh, come on mate. I know you love all things apple but don't take the piss!
Everybody knows that there are much better AV players out there for a fraction of the cost. Battery life, storage capacity and most importantly sound quality, the ipod really is pants!
I wouldn't consider using any other laptop for serious stuff, my trusty old ibook is the dog's whatsits but ipods? Yuk!

I've got an old G4 desktop thingy as well that gets an airing every now and then when I need to use Quark.
The only reason I deal mainly with PCs is because that's what the majority of my punters bring to me for repair
