bring up a command prompt;
type set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1
and type devmgmt.msc . look to see if the flash device is there . if it is delete it.
Search for ggsemc. if you find the ggsemc files. zip/rar them up and delete the originals. grab the w800 signed usb drivers.exe of sony ericsson and install them. for good measure grab the zip file off sony ericsson containing k750 drivers (I dont know if it is a k750 or a w800 ; either way if the upgrade goes well in the end you are gonna need the drivers) .
grab these:
http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=1222
and put them in the same folder as the k750 drivers and hold down c and see if it detects the phone.

I tried that and now the USB Flash driver installed successfully, but I think my phone has to be switched on for it to install the rest of the other drivers :S
Where abouts in London are you from? Are you familiar with Tottenham court Road.. I might just go there and see if any of the guys in one of the phone shops can do something. Otherwise what else do you suggest I do, all I need is for my computer to recognise that its a K750 and I can reflash it using SEUS.

Me? Im from Forest Gate,East London. I love tottenham court road. Anyway Sorry but I cant think of anything. A service cable can repair any dead se but its easier going to the phone shop. You may want to ask for them to put on r1bc unbranded and to get it unlocked seeing as they will have to use a service cable?

ok, cool dude.. I'll try out some more things and if they dont work, I'll try going to a mobile shop and seeing if its just a faulty battery or its completely dead.

The risk is always high when you flash anyway. Technially flashing to a w800 firmware the risk is the same as the w800 is the same hardware as the k750. I flashed my phone to w800 and it works fine.
But ilabstudios ; this may sound stupid but have you taken the battery out and in again? You may have but this fixed a problem when my phone died because davinci didnt work with modded f/w

Dude my phone has been a brick now for 2 and a half days, I've taken the battery out for hours and hours and left it there, and inserted it and and left it there for a day, charged it nothing. Ive tried everything, even my dad is an engineer and an electrician and he couldn't solve the problem. :S
