@Dogmann - Cheers.
You're so right about TomTom's site - it is completely useless if you actually want any meaningful information...

Would like to know where they got their compatibility information from because it is certainly a lot more than TomTom have said - whic is precisely nothing regarding support platforms or devices.

if this does end up being compatable with the M600, do you have to use their GPS BT receiver or will any work? Such as the Holux GPSlim 240

The M600i and TomTom together will be sold as a Navi-to-Go box. P990i will not be available in a separate package.

I will be amazed if it does come out on P990i as from what I read from all the discussion people have had with the developers, they have shown a complete lack of interest in developing for UIQ3, but who knows, eventually they may get round to it.

Don't understand... if it works on the 600, it should work on the 990i, surely?

Yes and no (it ispossible to lock software to run only the M600i or P990i and vice-versa), but the implication seems to be that TomTom will be selling it only with the M600i as a bundle deal (ie including the phone), but no seperate version you can buy for existing M600i owners ot the P990i at all. Really don't understand their logic if this is the case - they would get FAR more sales selling it as a software/receiver only deal...

They do not want that. Focus is on the TomTom Go. If they sell to much packages for mobile phones, the GO will surver wrt sales. The TomTom Go makes the money, not the software.......
