@si egdell i think this one you have to do it personally:D ,or maybe she can do it .Just try and create another Data Communication account which has wrong settings,and then in Internet Settings>Internet Profiles,try to select the wrong made account.This would mean that the phone won't connect to the internet

my k800i has the same simble all the time from my 3g network, change the pref network maually 2 gsm and see if it drops from the screen that way u will no 4 sure if itz that
