[c3], you must be moving your hands too much when taking a picture. It happens to me too, but only when I move my hands. And it happens not only with my K790, but also with my Canon A620 digicamera. But I agree if you say that pictures are easier to be blurred with k800/k790.

Macro mode is for taking really close up pictures (see my flowers in the show off section)
the phone should be set to auto for any other pictures unless you know what your doing!

Well, now that you have clarified your question, I can tell you that even the most advanced cameras have a macro setting. I don't think their sensors can automatically detect (yet) how close you are to the subject, so you need to adjust it manually when you're taking a close-up picture so it won't come up blurred.
And in regards with some of the answers on this post and the fact that they confused you, I don't think you have to appologize, maybe your original question wasn't clear but in fact, some of the "answers" that some of these guys posted seem to have been written by "dumb, dumber & dumbest" (sorry, there's no delicate way to put this) but I mean:

Macro should be turned off at ALL TIMES, unless you're taking close-up pictures or want the blurred effect on purpose.
