Great point Stu| thanks for the idea. I'm sure I haven't updated the mobo drivers for over half a year.. I'll give that a bash next time I'm in the office
(and no, I can't use the phone from my home PC - SE software clashes with my 3G PCMCIA mobile connection; must be seeing the sim as another phone or something)
Oh and no, Angellus - I tried not selecting phone mode, but unfotunately - same scenario

Hmmm.. I don't have this problems. I even don't have to use disconnect in safemode.. Just unplugging the cable when i'm finished with it
