The W810 has the hissing noise problem (50% of the devices). For me that's not good sound quality. I had one - now I have the K610 and it's sound-quality is better. But that might be a matter of personal preference.
The K610/K618 have exactly the same features. Just the design is different.
Pro for K610/618:
- RSS reader
- smaller
- lighter
- UMTS
Pro for W810:
- Walkman Mediaplayer
- Autofocus camera
- flashlight

Deja-vu! I had the same problem a lil while back, but I bought a W810 and I love it!!!!!!!!! I think the k610 is really cool too, only it's not got radio, which is pretty sad. That was the only reason why I chose W810 over it. I TOO had the K700 and the limited memory seriously made me mad, so the included-with-the-box 512 MB card of the W810(as compared to the 256 mb OF k610) enticed me even more! All in all, I love my w810.

Only 64MB MS-micro are included with the K610 and no headset. And you are right about the FM-radio. As I almost never listen to radio I do not miss it.
It's true - the W810 is a music phone, the K610 is more like a mid-range business phone.
Another one: K610/K618 are missing a InfraRed port, too.

Definitely go for the W800i, it's generally agreed to be an excellent phone. Its wonderful to operate and everyone i know who owns one loves it. Waiting for the W850i is a good idea if your budget permits.

I don't know if this is important to you or not, but as someone who travels a lot, I went with the W810i, since it's quad band. The W850 won't have this, from what I've read, and I don't think the K610/K618 has this either.
Cheers,
Addy

W810 definitely. K610/K618 have inferior sensors and despite the built-in noise reduction, they produce pictures with a lot of noise and unwanted color streaks when shots are taken in dark conditions.
K610/K618 don't have flash. W810 has a light that you can turn on in case you need a little help with picture illumination.

i do not like, however, how the w810's (and the k750/w800/w700's) torch put a bluish tint on the overall image. Manually setting the white balancing helps, but not that whole much. Get an MXE-60 (which leads me to another beef.... when the MXE-60 is attached, the JPG compression goes kablam and bogs the picture quality down)
in daylight, both phones take decent quality pictures (the 810's AF mechanism makes it churn out better shots, of course)
not to go off-topic: w810 vs k610 - it all depends on what you need/want on a phone. 3g prices are still sky-high from where i am, and i dont feel i need 3g anyways, so i went with w810. better bundled accessories too.
