Circa 2001-2002 registered members RARELY visits the Forums on a DAILY basis as I see it

aside from Laffen of course . . . the OLDEST regular-posters here nowadays are mostly circa-2003 registered members

I'll repeat it again (for the benefit of the DOUBT) . . . REGULAR-DAILY-POSTERS . . . not weekly, monthly or yearly !

I also remember Pradhika, an Indian female, posting regularly back then, mostly via WAP, but she's not registered here that early.

Back in early 2001 I was surfing Esato.com learning about GSM while I worked at Rogers AT&T Wireless ( no Rogers Wireless) here in Canada.
If I'm not mistaken, I can distinctly remember that there was a server change issue on Esato during 2001. Laffen was running this site out of his own coffers - going broke too I'd like to mention - and although He didnt want to allow advertising, he decided that some faithful donations could be offered. Many users both in the PC community and on the Mac community offered to have their computers as a cache backup. kinda like a SAN over internet. This couldnt be implemented unfortunately. However, donations helped greatly and since then the site was backed up on 2 servers.
Sure there are a few adds on the site within forums today, but nowhere as intrusive as other fan sites I've seen.
Does anyone remember or am I well paste my bedtime on this recollection.
