Maybe its because of a other error, that is only found in your model and has the same effect (to less memory left)... Don't know what it could be.. your model is to new for me.

no it can't be the media player skin, my friend's W550 has this problem, and she barely knows how to use the phone, let alone tweak the media player. Also, apart from not saving pics, the files in the file manager cannot be seen nor played; in the games, they have no icon, etc. Only a reboot fixes it for some time. Should be firmware, although about three months ago the phone was just fine. Cheers

Duran, once i had this problem. this is because of a virus. virus resides in memory stick. so format the memory stick it will work. again you have clean your computer before connecting your phone or else virus again gets loaded to memory stick..
cheers...

Good thinking.
Attach the phone to your pc with the usb cable & give it a scan.
Ill doubt it will find anything though but its worth a shot.

You can't use a PC anti-virus scanner for a mobile phone; it's designed to find viruses on whatever it is installed on, not alien devices.

If I attach my K750I to my computer via the usb cable it shows up as a removable disk & Norton will scan it.

Connecting a K750i to a computer would allow the computer to read the Memory Stick - as can any compatible card reader, and no viruses can be introduced to the phone via the Memory Stick anyway.
