Where did you get it from? You've been done! Without it you can't listen to the radio, plus it also allows you to control any mp3s etc you are listening to.

sounds like you have the hpm-70 headphones, which come with many walkman phones.

The W900i came with the ones pictures, you can pick them up on ebay fairly cheap, like has been said before, no radio without them

Completed eBay listings for the HPM-80 have gone for £10 - £15, there's one on eBay which finishes in two days or so. Saying that, why not go back the person you bought the phone from and ask why they've neglected to actually give you it in the first place?
