Auto focus!!

i used the 2 mpx setting sitting inside a car taking a photo of the bmw not the surroundings. since i own a w810 to and never used the cam on that im pretty happy with the result. i only take photos to use on the phone to send as mms or such so i got no problems with it.

Yup! As problably already been mentioned before- itīs hard to understand the SE:s strategy: to force people to choose between camera designated phones or music designated phones. Itīs almost insulting when they make newer phones without auto focus when the phones last year had auto focus. If SE put their energy to make more "complete phones" and not putting out a gazillion different walkman models, maybe they still could produce phones with at least 2 M.pix cameras with auto focus, and still have a fair amount of diffent phones with slightly different design and "specialities".
Yeeees iīm one of those that wants a phone with both a good camera and
good software for music... i think we are many who wishes that.
I just dinīt see the point in making phones in the high end segment with lesser cameras then say the K750.
(the pic. is not taken with a W850...itīs not that bad i hope.) The watch could bee a W810-watch hehe)

Dont forget its the first firmware, they can update the camera. Just look at the first ever K750 pics compared to the latest ones.

Thatīs true! Iīm sure that the newer firmware will make better photos.
Forgive me if iīm stupid but in terms of auto focus- Donīt you have to put additional hardware to get auto focus?..Iīm probably just a bit tired and thick this evening.

yes... W850 is without auto-focus.. following the announcement that SE phones with walkman branding will concentrate on music... and K branding on image... while K618 was on the previous production lines...
i guess future K series will definitely have good imaging capabilities over walkman branding.

Looks like my K618i (together with the K600 and K610i) will focus MAINLY on it's 3G functions
