Yep... hard as hell to find a suitable carrying case here.
Lemme know if you find any.
For now, my old P800 holster will do. Yun nga lang, I can't attach the hands free since the opening at the side of the holster is only big enough for the old P8/P9/p910 connector.
Also... my old holster is starting to show its age.... The leather is already very soft and wrinkled. It's begging to be retired.

kasi nakita ko sa ibang forum nakakasira ng paint ng p990 yung mga leather cases... mas ok yata yung mga silicone case para protected yung body ng p990i....tingin nyo?
nakabili nga pala ko brando screen protector for p990 sa digital walker (650 petot)

So long as the leather case has some kind of velvet or suede inner linings, I don't think the paintwork of the phone will be damaged.
I've used my P800 leather case for 3 years now... and the edges of my P800 still looks as good as the day I took it out of box.
The only worn down paint on my P800 was caused by the constant clipping/unclipping of the stylus on its side.
RE: Silicon case.
Errr... no offense...but.... do you really want to hide the beauty of your P990 under all that semi-opaque silicone? I wouldn't.

....you know i really dont mind, as long as the paint is protected, sa tingin ko kasi mas poor ang pagka-paint nitong p990 compared with the other p-series... mukhang tinipid talaga ang production/materials, kaya nga wala ring leather case sa box....and i'm sure na mas mabilis din mawala paint nya...

Yep. That's the one I'm using now. Of course, mine has seen better days though....
Anyway, I did a quick check on the SE site. The site listed the P990 as compatible with the IEC-20.
But take note that the side side opening of the IEC-20 is only suitable for the P8/P9/P910 handsfree plug. The P990 plug won't fit.

E sana magkaron ng crystal case. Sa P910i ko gamit ko crystal case, plus leather pa. It's gonna be a bit bulky pero ok lang sakin.
