well, davinci lets you change CID49 to CID36 but im not sure at all. after it is done you can use far manager to change the accoustics settings. but far manager does not support CID49 phones.

?Problem? Do u think its a problem? Well i think this is just what SE wanted to do. Downgrade sound of almost all its non-walkman phones as seen previously in K790 and P990. Forget it, SE ain't gonna fix it. Their strategy for poor sound sucks.

I was so happy when i got it updated and then i plugged in my headphones... the w800i ones that i have bought separately from a layman but the sound quality was totally a disappointment and i regret the day i updated it

i was wondering if theres some way we can atleast have some plugin flashed in the phone that could upgrade its walkman sounds quality?
plus, what do you all say if i say that SE has done it purposely, so that users must switch to their walkman series...
waiting for your replys...
cheers

I'm not sure about the sound quality but when I upgraded my K750 to R1DB001 the joystick started to not respond, and the camera quality went down hill, It's virtually impossible to take a photo in low light conditions now, all the colours are wrong and there are terrible lines accross the picture.
It got so bad that I stopped using in and am now using my old S700 again.

you sure its the firmware that made your joystick go ga-ga?! my joystick went array just a couple of days ago and its really irritating to the point where you dont know if your applying enuff pressure for it to respond...
just made some dust cleaning.... exercised the stick to move in any direction... and eventually it went back to its normal self.

@rockygali
I don't think it's dust as I keep my phones very clean plus I have tried cleaning it and exercising the joystick.
One minute it's working fine then it will stop responding, if I leave it alone for a while it will start working again or if I restart the phone.
It went like this on an earlier firmware, then when I updated it the problem was resolved. I only kept on updating the firmware to try and resolve some minor bt problems I was having with the phone ie, trying to get it to pair properly with a bluetrek g2 headset.
For me the K750 is an excellent phone however I feel very let down by se with the constant firmware problems.

Lucky for you, you get to upgrade at all. Some days ago, my phone broke down and left me with a BLINKING white blank screen. Since there's no service centre in my area, I brought it to a local repair shop. They installed this Firmware Version:R1N035. I tried updating my FW via SEUS and it told me i have the latest firmware or something like that.
The firmware that was originally installed in my phone was R1CA029 in the first place. I wonder if that's the reason that now, I have a STEADY white blank screen. I also checked my phone using DaVinci and found out it's a CID49.
Now I'm stuck with a firmwareless phone until I find something to fix this prob of mine.
