I'm tempted to pick one of these up and swap it 'in' to my daily phones for when I wanna listen to music (swapping 'out' my M600i).

Gonna see if I can get in contact with a SE rep I met the other day to see if he has a handset to try out!

I thought of selling my M600 and buying the W950. I looked arnound and decided to leave my M600 and buy Creative Zen Vision M. Now I am happy with my choice. I will never ever be tempted to use my phone as an mp3 player. I got 30GB, vseamless avi video playback without prior converting the movies, very good audio playback and an excellent adio with the possibility to record up to 10 hs. Anything else I might need?

Have you had a play with it? Just heard that there is an option to turn off the 'Transition animation' making in alot faster...

so hopefully next firmware for P990 will...

Yes, the option is there, but I don't notice much difference (if any).
You can have the media player animations show on the home screen - nice for about 10 seconds!

With the transitions off it's like having a completely different phone
I'm not sure how much of it is just subjective and how much faster navigation really is, but it feels much MUCH better.

Both of you have the w950...who is right???? Truth is P990 and M600 are much faster with transitions off via the video trick...
