I installed a customized crossbow rom yesterday on my HTC Prophet..got it from a wm community forum...no bugs seen so far...its snappier than my AKU 3.3 wm5 rom, has a nice feel to it, vista style icons...and some nice new features like windows live messenger & windows updates... battery life seems to better too...will post screenshots shortly

@mrao how did you downgrade JAMin to the earlier version?
coz on the clubimate site for K-JAM it says:
Please note before proceeding:
You will not be able to downgrade to the earlier K-JAM ROM build, once this upgrade has taken place.
just curious, although i have the Rom version: 2.16.9.1 on my K-JAM for direct flash

You wouldn't need to downgrade...since you are using a rom version earlier than 2.20
..you shuld be able to upgrade directly...but make sure you do a complete backup...and download the original shipped rom, in case you need to flash it back to wm5

just flashed it with an original dopod shipped ROM
and then reflashed the crossbow rom...flashing with wm6 rom before downgradin to 2.20 or earlier can leave you stuck in bootloader mode
