Made me a believer. The K750/W800 are great phones and will not be beaten for a while. They will hang on just as the T610/630 did.

In the first place . . . the JUMP from a 2 MP to a 3.2 MP was not that HUGE so, we MUST not expect something so amazing here . . . had it been a JUMP from 2 MP to, say, 4 or 5 . . . MP . . now that's something to !

It seems to me that the exposure of your k800 is a bit high. Might be a factory defect but you can try adjusting exposure by moving the joystick 1-2 times to the left and then comapring the photos. You really shouldn't have to do that, but it's a quick fix. Also the k800 gives you a lot more flexibility with the different settings - I vary which type I'm using constantly - between the full auto, landscape and portrait primarily and then document for close up macros. Overall my impression is that my k790 is much Much better at taking pictures than my k750 and w810.

Even with more pixels and xenon flash k800 was not a very good upgrade. It was even a downgrade in some aspects. Everybody is still expecting k750īs real successor. I just hope we dont see again what happened to T610. It didnt have a real upgrade. Some people say it was K700 but thats a different phone, targeted to a different market, the youth market. T610 was fashion/business market, but some tech geeks liked it too. But prefered to expand the product line instead of investing more on the T series. Just like they are doing now. Imo that sucks. We want phones with advanced tech inside, as much as they can have. If i wanted a īspecializedī device iīd have bought an ipod or a real digital cam. Iīve said this a couple times before but thats because iīm really disappointed with īs new direction

The new firmware fixes some issues with the camera. See the first post on the K800 thread.
Personally I'm very happy with my K800 after owning a W800, the walkman isnt a huge issue for me, and true the headphones on the K800 are terrible but I just swapped them with the W800 ones and its a huge improvement.

eventually what the K800 is undergoin is the same way that the K750 have left off. K800 is quite fresh if i do say so myself.... tuning would make it the best camphone there is...

so for the meantime.. ill just stick it up with my rusty ol K750... and i can still tweak around using FAR... and its just great... of course next year K800 will do the same tuning K750 is undergoin right now... SE rocks!

K800's screen isnt anything special. It looses to D900 and QVGA screens from Nokia.

Thats true. Not to mention that the icons are more pixelated than on w800 and the menu is slower. Drawback for .
