@bagli - Really So, ya think this is NOT a good-buy?

Read my post...as a walkman ( if you dont need too high storage) and as a phone w850 is outstanding...but camera has quality is no very good...

If you dont really care about pics...then I think is the best buy

The W850 reminds me of the W550. Very solid build quality and I really like the sliding design. The camera could have got higher resolution and autofocus. I am also missing a lens protection. One thing you can't say about some other models is that the W850 acctually capture the picture when you press the shutter button. Thumbs up for the quality display and large number keys. The Walkman app is simple and intuitive. The included 1GB Memory Stick Duo card should be enough for a couple of melodies

Well, as SE now has Cyber-shot and Walkman series, I can understand why W850i has no 3.2 megapixel cam, but they shouldn't have left out autofocus.

It's not a good buy, when the camera is important, W850i doesn't have autofocus, this surely makes a difference !

@marly - But my K618i back then has NO - autofocus too, but sure it captures SHARP - outdoor images, poor on interior shots though . . .
So, the W850i is 's SLIDING fone? The W550i is a SWIVEL one too

That's right, K610 and K618 don't have autofocus either, but outdoors lighting conditions are better (at least most of the time), so it's easier, to take sharp pictures.
And let's not forget another thing : a camphone is light, when you move it just a tiny little bit, while taking a picture, the pic will be very blurry. So someone who is capable of holding his hands still, while taking pictures, will have much better results.

@marly - Yup, they are light, specially that of the K618i (one of the lightest) . . . as if I'm just holding a piece of paper But I make sure that my hands are STEADY when taking shots . . . .

Havent had any problems with mine so far. What do you want to know about the 3g? One function I like (dont know if its only with 3) is the blog function. Take a picture, write your text and then blog it

W850 is a mighty nice phone, but since imaging is my first priority, I prefer the K790. Anyways, good luck with your new one when it arrives.
