sulphuric acid is also hydroscopic, even more so than ethanol.
make sure you use a concentration over 90% to soak you phone in.

i've fixed and old samsung of mine (x600) which fell in a bucket of water (and remain there for a while)
let it dry out, and sprayed around with WD40 (some stuff people use for their bike/car and locks) the amazing thing happend, i got a running x600
