what I am wondering is how were you able to flash your eprom when you don't have a service cable? is that possible? can anyone confirm this?

This post is useless, since eeiba decided to have his phone fixed in an authorized service center, but I must clarify something with danielcps.
You, mister, recommended a solution using a service cable, while eeiba asked for a solution that would work using DCU-60 only. Read again his SECOND post.
Since he already managed to flash it with the wrong EPROM, how did he do it? With DCU-60 and FAR plugin, my guess. And he was looking for a solution that would repair the phone using the same tools. You kept on recommending service cable, that's ok, but you didn't pay attention to his request.

Thanks guys for all your opinions, I've got it all sorted out. I brought it to a friend of mine who runs a cellphone repairshop here in Laguna. When he attached the fone to the PC using Cruiser, he wasn't able to detect the certificate of the phone so we optes to use a testpoint for the k750. Guess what, it worked. The phone was detected and happy me, I'm able to use the phone again. Unfortunately, while trying to reassemble the phone, the switch for the camera slider smapped, so although the phone is now working, i's still waiting for the camera flex cable to be rebuilt. (he says it possible to rebuild it anyway). So there, I now have a partially working phone in my hand.

I have flashed the eprom accidentally while applying the battery bug patch using gloadeer, but I placed the file in the eprom textbox instead of the GDFS textbox. Silly me. Like they said, experiance is the best teacher. I'm again tinkering with the phone but doing it a little bit more carefully now.

Thanks aagin guys.

From all the post from the previous page, and from my experiencec, I'd say that there is no way we can do it using only the DCU-60. I've accepted that fact and so I sought the help of you people here in esato and eventually my friend who has a service cable and cruiser software. Using the testpoint, we were able to revive the phone. Maybe you can find someone in your place that does the same kind of things and ask him to help you out. Or just bring it to the service senter if possible. Best advice I can give you now.
