i emailed them this:

""hi there!

just interested in the Live PVR software! however i am a UIQ user (SE
P990i). it appears you have taken the version compatible with UIQ devices
off your website?? is it coming back? whats the score? thank you.""

and their response was:

""Hello

We have given up our attempt to do the UIQ version as it requires device
manufacturer's signing the app and we do not have a big enough story to get
the authorization as of yet.

Thank You""

ARGHHHHHHH!!!!!!! i want this!

Don´t they have a s60 v3 version??? If so, they must had to sign the thing, just like UIQ 3 requires...so why won´t they do it???

Got this answer

Quote:Its not only the cost of code signing that is holding us back. On UIQ it
will require Device manufacturer's
certification which we have requested and yet to get. We understand the
demand for such a product for
UIQ phones and eager to do it as well.

Now, UIQ and "device manfacturer" are the same, isn´t it??? So the certification process should be easier than before...

Anyway, this answer shows they still didn´t give up...maybe more emails from UIQ 3 users will encourage them

I used to record calls with my K700 and that was easy game, just with the phone's voice recorder.
I've never tried it with my old P910 neither with my actual P990. I think you don't need an extra software to record your calls. you should just try when in a conversation from the menu to go to the voice recorder and then start recording.

Now it's too late to test it but I'll try tomorrow or this weekend and let you know.

People just like to buy softwares without exploring all the possibilities offered by the device itself.

IMAO

TRy TRy to do it , then you will learn that is IMPOSIBLE in P990i .

The only way you can record voice is without any incoming or outgoing call .

That is terrible .....

There lots of situations for me that I cant write anywhere even in my mobile , but a simple function to the 90% of the actual mobiles its not posible on P990i.

That its incomprensible ĦĦĦĦ

I dont want to hear explanations talking about the secure an confidential way of talking , that sound rubish to me .

500 euros phone that it is not capable of recording calls ( incoming or outgoing ) , should manage recorded conversations to integrate them into calendar and help us like a real smartphone .

thats the worst point to me about P990i.
