I think the clues in the title N Series v SE he wants to compare all N series phones against SE's although he does compare those 2 phones yet again along with some other in correct information and assumptions IMO.

I understand your point Dogmann, however the N73 vs K800i thread has brought out just about everything about the N-series compared to K-series in terms of features, design and software to mention just a few.

One aspect that has not been brought is the advanced "multimedia computer" capability N-series. Here I list of capability (which I am using actively) that N-series can do:-
1. Advanced Profiles (integrated with calendar) - Phone automatically turn on/off profile based on predefined keywords, start and end time in calendar entries. Additionally phone can auotmatically perform additional actions when a profile is changed like changing theme, run an application, turn on/off bluetooth, change hotkeys mapping etc. E.g. set a meeting entry in calendar and phone will automatically turn on "meeting" profile at specified time. Additionally the phone theme is changed and the in-phone answering machine/IVR app is turned on. At end of meeting, phone revert back to last profile/theme and close the app.
2. Advanced Call Management. In-phone answering machine with IVR (i.e. caller is prompted to select options during call). Also black/white list of phone numbers can be set up to filter calls. And schedule can be setup when different actions are perfomed. E.g. During sleeping hours you can set all phone calls (except those in white-list) to in-phone answering machine. During meeting, you can tell the caller to press a key to ring your phone if it is very urgent otherwise the default in-phone answering machine will kick in.
3. Cell-based "gps" (dont need gps receiver). By recording cell-station locations info, phone can automatically perform actions like send sms, change profile, etc based on which cell-station the phone is currently connected to. E.g. when picking up someone, the phone will automatically send sms to that person when you are near the pickup point. When used in conjunction with Advanced Profiles and Call Management you can create any type of automated phone actions.
4. Schedule pre-specified sms to be sent automatically at predefined time by entering a "command" string as title in the calendar entry.
5. Use the phone as fax machine to receive or send fax.
6. Voice notes/reminder/todo (integrated with calendar) - Press a hotkey to record a memo/notes. Recorded voice note will be inserted into calendar where you can then set schedule or alarm. Use this instead of typing on the keypad.
7. Multitude of full dictionaries, translation/voice dictionary and e-books.
8. Play hundreds of games including console games using emulators.
9. Control your phone camera/activate app like recording remotely by calling your phone and pressing keytone or sending sms with embedded command to your phone.
10. Use phone as sound monitor and motion detector. Can set phone to automatically perform actions (like sms, call, start app) when sound exceed certain level or there is motion detected by camera.
11. Construct cool ringtones using fireplayer or edit your movie or view the web with a full webbrowser or open any office/pdf documents.
12. Use the phone as multimedia player (video and audio). You can install many codecs to playback any media file format.
13. Use minute manager to tally your calls/sms usage. Also can create auto-callback to save on tariff.
14. Use the comprehensive blog system to create a blog of all your call/sms, video, audio, photo etc.
15. And many others utility app like scientific calculator, ftp, telnet, p2p, bluetooth remote control, personal productivity apps

Ok so lets take a look at some comparasims in short:
Well for the n73/n93 vs k800 in terms of imaging the k800 wins. Infact i was severly dissapointed with the quality of the n93s pictures. Not to mention the k800 is the cheapest of the 3 and still has the best flash on the market.
Music phones: N91 VS W950
Well pros of the n91 is that it has camera but thats about it.
The w950 is also symbian and also has the added benefit of incorporating flash memory as well as a nice Touchscreen with QVGA resolution and great battery life. Where as the n91 uses old type microdrive.
Business phones:
E61/N80 vs M600/P990.
Well there really is no comparasim here with either phones.
Ive played with the e61 and for what it does if i wanted something of similar size id go for a blackberry.
N80 is ok. Nice screen is about as good as it gets. No point having wifi in my opinon with such a poor battery life. Slider is very badley designed an does not feel tight or stable as the samsungs do.
Nice 3mp camera but why do Nokia not put a lens cover here?
Overall Nokia release a bigger range but are not consistent enough. Whn they start fixing 4 month old bugs like purple fog or grainey video then they can consider thmelves to be more popular but on the whole if say SE win.

Whilst you may compare the N73 and K800 the N93 defiantly can't be compared to a K800 as that's just plain stupid. The K800 is merely a Camera phone big deal N73 is a smartphone plus stereo speakers for both Music and Video. The K800 may have a xenon flash but that is all it has and only takes better pictures in low light conditions big deal.
I find it very rich you find fault with the Nokia's yet totally ignore white screen of death and K800's that die with low batt and refuse to work again.
It seems OK for SE to constantly release firmware updates to fix bugs but for any other manufacturer this is a major problem very strange logic being applied here.
As to video tell me of one SE phone any phone that comes anywhere near to the quality of the N93, simple answer you can't because they don't we get a lot here are SE fanboys and entitled to your preferences but get real and stop talking absolute rubbish it just makes you look stupid.

Of course you would pick a W850 over a N73 as for a start you are a SE fanboy and second of all ones a Walkman phone the others a smartphone and obviously smarter than you are with that type of stupid comment.

Hi Jack77777,
Sorry but felt your comment was also a bit harsh hence my response and have no idea why everything you installed was corrupted as that is very strange. At the end of the day everyone is free to choose what suits them best and from what i have seen the W850 does look like a great Walkman phone i hope you enjoy it. Just a little bored of people slating anything that is not SE it's just so boring.
