Hi all
Sorry to point out the obvious but if none of you have this feature it does look like this has been removed from the W950 in the same way as the Office and PDF viewers. But maybe one of you should ring SE and see what they have to say. I suppose your lucky they didn't remove E-Mail and the Web Browser also as W950 is a Walkman not a business phone. Although why the would bother removing these features is completely beyond me other than there strange marketing strategy.

I will see if i can get onto my o2 store and ask them, ive already sent countless emails to o2 and SE but no replies :s they went to all the trouble removing the feature but the icon is still there in the menu and the browser still supports it... strange , also there has been no updates for the w950 yet

the sonyericsson website includes RSS feeds under specs. must be a bug - or SE lied on the website? neither would suprise me unfortunately...

This must be an operator branded phone problem as my unbranded W950i has the RSS feeds app in the multimedia section and it works just fine for me.

@mobman
When they first put on the website it also showed Quickoffice and PDF viewers and l by launch these where removed so who knows what is going on as although it is a Walkman phone it is a smartphone so makes no sense to me. Much the same as if you check what it syncs via the questions section it says no e-mail sync yet Jah has confirmed it does i really am losing faith in all SE seems to be doing right now. They are no longer the company i knew and loved and are getting worse rather than better IMO.

My unlocked and unbranded W950i also has the RSS application in the Multimedia menu and it works fine.

I'd really like to get my hands on the Office and/or PDF software if they are available to download from somewhere?

my branded orange has rss feeds.
think it is an o2 thing.

don't mind networks branding to "enhance" experience but they shouldn't be allowed to change/remove SE features

Spoke to a bloke in the o2 shop today, really nice chap knew his stuff! and he has convinced me it has nothing to do with o2 regarding the lack of office tools and the rss feeds and suggested se may well include it in an update!

or try using da vinci or other services to flash the phone to a different fw!

Nanu: He's talking nonsense at least in regards to the RSS feeds since many other people have stated that their non-O2 handsets have a working RSS application pre-installed.

As for the Office/PDF apps, I don't think they are included with any W950i handsets, but it would be great if SE released them for free or possibly via a firmware update. The M600i has them and the W950i is a more expensive handset, why shouldn't they be included?!
