Loaded it earlier today and impressed that it now works with audio. The re-write meant that the key mapping is much better but again, holding and mapping the keys might be a bit dodgy and uncomfortable.
For the clueless bunch: you will need to get the roms. However, i'm quite certain the mods won't like us discussing it here for some very obvious reasons.

No, SMC is a Super Nintendo rom format.
