- Ericsson has resumed the plan on developing the 64-bit mobile game machine Red Jade. The plan was once put aside last year due to financial issues, but Ericsson has made a new announcement in Asia last week regarding to the plan on launching Red Jade in 2003. The Red Jade will have a 64-bit CPU, which can process 3D polygon graphics, with a quality between PSone and N64.

Well all they say is 2003. But it looks like they will use this to combat Nokia's N-Gage. Already it looks like it has beaten it specs wise.

Bullsh*t... You would believe anything

Red Jade no longer exists!!! The company disappeared after Ericsson pulled out from it.
Ericsson initially invested in it, but now it's over. Dead.
Red Jade, based in Paalo Alto, CA had designed the game console completely, Ericsson was just supposed to build it, market it and distribute it... But this never happened, and it won't happen. No working prototype is even known to exist.

But you can still try and connect to Red Jade previous website...

Good luck

There's also a couple of week old article on this...

Are you seriously comparing it to the 5510?!?! There's quite a big difference between these two.
