Wow! That list has to contain just about every single program that's available for UIQ3 right now.

Do you really have all of them installed in your phone? If so, I'm very impressed.

@MR
Im not entirely sure what kind of info your after but this is what I have to quickly say about UIQ and its apps.
- Video trick, having a paused video running in the background makes your menu very fast becuase it keeps the video processor running.
- Use Task Manager or Swiss Manager to manage memory. At the moment the phone doesn't manage it well by itself.
- M3 for video as Koto has said, produces a great output.
- Opera Mini gives a better web experience IMO than the built in Opera at the moment. Don't forget that UIQ phones tend to have bigger screens, java apps also support the touchscreen and some have QWERTY. So even though opera mini works on all phones, the UIQ3 hardware gives a better experience.
- For games, lately theres been a lot of 'classic' games that have been ported. Lemmings, Duke3d, Doom and Picodrive (megadrive emulator). My favourite is Lemmings which before was difficult with a joystick.
- UIQ3 supports OCR (optical character recognition) so apps like the business Card reader and PhotoWord (take a pic of a word and it translates it for you). I've not seen these features in other phones.
- For users of Notes in normal SE phones, theres StickIt which has the ability to stick a note on standby.
Anyone that intends to buy this phone needs to be aware that using the touchscreen is the quickest and easiest way to get around but requires two hands. Many have said they use the thumbs which is even easier, including me.
Currently, memory management is so some apps like TomTom require other apps be shut down first.
Also, java doesnt support 3d java apps.
Ares has mentioned all the other good apps, tomtom, advance call manager, Projekt, etc etc.
Hope that helps.
How much change do you see happening at UIQ3 in the future since SE have it in their hands now. Its a good move if they want to be a big player.

Ooh. Drama.
I'm using a dictionary & thesaurus (Mobile systems), the open- office package, coreplayer, mobileftpd, "image- converter" (the example- program from the sdk

), and a couple of games. And that (with a bluetooth keyboard) basically lets me do most things on the phone that I need, before I'm setting documents in quark, or something like that.
Um, and tips with uiq3... I don't know. It's an actual OS, so it has a different scope than a usual mobile phone. For good or bad. Huge potential, but so far not as enthusiastic support for uiq as other platforms that have no ambition at all. So the tips for a customer to get the most out of it would be to know what they're going to use the device for on beforehand (instead of being a lazy consumer).
