While I think her motives were good, I don't think that she herself can talk that much. Looking at some of her previous music videos leads me to believe that she is being a bit of a hypocrite.
In the end, poverty is not an easy thing to solve. I think some celebrities are quite a bit naive when it comes to these things. Just giving them money doesn't solve it. In the perfect world it would, but today, no.
It's up to figuring the reason why they're so poor to begin with, and that's ultimately the fault of the governments of these countries, the corrupt governments.
Remember we've cleared up all the debts of the African countries so that the governments can help rebuild their own economies.
But it's not like I don't care about the situation, it's just that the way in which this video shows it is far to simplistic. Maybe if I had millions of dollars, I might be able to change some things, but I don't.
I still do my bit though to help, only as much as I can afford.
