I believe I read somewhere that you should install the version 51 (the newer version) on top of the previous version, version 44 or 40? I personally use the previous version because it tells exactly where to go (K750 cid36 bla bla versus K_00_ver4 or something like that)

ok i finally fixed it. apparently, when i unzipped the 10.0.44 version, i was supposed to put the script files (starting with db2010...) in a "scripts" sub-folder. I did that, chose k750_w800_cid36 and it went all smooth. I finally fixed the acoustic driver i wanted to fix.

that's great to hear... however I just want to share my experience just now... every time I go to FAR Manager it'll just gives me some bla bla error message, it lets me in to SEFP though, but it returns another error message. I removed the SEFP plugin, unzip it again and places the SEFP in plugins folder of FAR folder and still, error messages everywhere!
my solution: uninstall FAR, delete the whole folder from Program Files, reboot the computer, reinstall FAR, put the SEFP plugin again, and everything is great just like before
can't think what causes it to gives me error messages all over the place though. I didn't do a thing beside browsing the internet since yesterday.

Hi bulukaki;
i'll try to "reverse-engineer" what i did when i installed the SEFP plugins and will let you know when i'm back home and able to see my PC's contents. From the top of my memory, i unzipped the 10.0.44 first, and then the 10.0.51 on top, which created 2 sub-folders : bin and scripts. Then i think i manually moved the DB2010 files (about 10 or 12 of them i remember well) to the scripts sub-folder as they were obviously not meant to be placed in the general SEFP folder but rather in the scripts.
When i run FAR and press Alt-F1 i actually get 2 SEFP choices ! 1st one shows nothing in the script column (that column where you're supposed to see K750_W800CID36 etc.), so i pick the 2nd SEFP. That one lets me choose DCU-60; connection speed (i choose the fastest one) and K750_W800CID36. I think others like CID36v4 and stuff are there too, but i just ignore them.
If you still have a problem, i suggest you read the .txt file that FAR creates in the SEFP folder. It's like a log and it allowed me to identify the error (ie. the misplaced DB2010 scripts).
Hope this helps !
