The martins field protector is easy to peel apart.I gave one to my mate and he thought i gave him nothing until he managed to separate the backing from the protector.

I just got my Martin Fields end of last week. That packaging is how they come, looks really dodgy and fake but their not.
You remove and throw away the saide that has the little sticker saying remove backing on it.
If you are having trouble, get some scotch tape (sellotape) which you will need to install the protector with anyway, put some tape on the backing and hole the other end to pull apart.

I can't get the edges perfect, some slight bubbles but their very small and don't affect the main screen.
It does make it a little bit harder to press on the screen but it's worth it for not scratching the scree.

As a confirmed Krusell case Fan boy i i have never received a case with scratches on any part of it it should be mint at least when you get.
I have and would never use a crystal case but it's down to individual choice.
No idea on the screen protector but i can't even open the blasted carrier bags in the supermarket without assistance, but it shouldn't be that difficult that's just not right IMO.

Martin Fields is the best screen protector IMHO. Just go to a phone accessories shop and ask them to apply the protector to your W950 if you can't do that by yourself.
Krussel is good enough for a letter case, I have one for my W800. But for W950, I suggest you buy a Covertec or Piel Frama.
And for crystal, you'd better don't use it as it may scratch your W950.
I have one for my P990 from Brando and its bottom part is crack.

I can install it, if I can separate the two layers... many of my friends tried and could not...

I sent the 3 items back that I was not happy with and have already received 2 replacements. Very quick to deal with returns and to send out replacements.
The Crystal Case still has a small flaw in the same place as the first one, so I guess this is a manufacturer thing from the mould... I think I can live with it....
The Krusell case is better but the plactic 'window' had finger prints all over it, and some small marks. I guess it is unreasonable for me to expect it to be 100% crystal clear!!
The Martin Fields are out of stock, pity, because that item is the most important for me....

The crystal case for my W850i has just arrived and I noticed a number of in-built black spots on it. The ones on the upper part that covers the screen are particularly irritating. What's more, the case makes it impossible to use the two buttons above the screen. All things considered, it is a is rather dissapointing accessory, although it does offer some protection.

I know the feeling, my crystal case cracked in a number of places very quickly, so much so that I had to bin the lower part and the upper part will share its destiny soon, since a piece of plastic recently fell off it.
Like you, I treat my phone with proper care... a disappointing product indeed.
That's why, I tend to think that a silicone case combined with a Martin Fields screen protector might be a better solution.
