What if by the time you get to the end of this experiment a newer phone has been released?
Seeing how well this theory worked last time there isn't really any reason why you can't take the experiment a lilttle further : -
You could eventually have your own portfolio. If for example you managed to swap a good K800i for 2 faulty ones then you could make yourself some extra cash and buy me a new phone

I'll simply go for whatever phone's newest at the time when I get to the 'top of the tree', so to speak!
I think it only took me a couple of months last time, and even then I could have done it a lot quicker, I had other things to do as well so wasn't as quick with the buying/selling as I should have been.
The biggest potential problem here as I say is if I buy a phone with one fault, and it turns out to either have another more expensive fault or a fault that I can't fix, though that should be more of a setback than a terminal problem as I can still sell that phone on as faulty, or in subsequent buying rounds buy 2 or 3 phones, therefore spreading the risk a bit.

I'm seriously thinking of trying this myself. Being able to say you managed to acquire a W950i from an initial outlay of £10 is some good going.
